WineDeals.com.au does not sell wine or process orders. This page explains what to check before a retailer purchase and how to raise a concern about our website.
Who you are dealing with
New World Gaming Ireland Limited owns and operates this website. We are based at 27 Mount Street Upper, Dublin 2, D02 F890, Ireland, and can be contacted at winedeals@gamingmedia.com.
WineDeals has no checkout, payment form or order facility. The seller named on the retailer's checkout supplies the wine. Check its business identity, contact details and applicable liquor-licence information before buying.
Prices and promotions
Check the currency, GST treatment, final total and compulsory charges. Our price currency is AUD unless expressly stated. A per-bottle headline may require a whole-case purchase, and delivery may change whether an offer is good value. Where delivery is unconfirmed, the displayed product total excludes delivery and you must check the retailer's charge.
- Product: confirm bottle size, bottle count, vintage, variety and whether a mixed case or substitution is involved.
- Eligibility: check minimum spend, location, membership, first-order, coupon and payment-method restrictions.
- Expiry and stock: check the retailer's current availability and closing date, including any stated time zone.
- Repeat payments: check whether the offer involves a wine club, subscription or automatic renewal, the recurring amount, frequency and cancellation steps.
A “was” price, RRP or claimed saving needs a clear comparison basis; a bargain label alone does not establish the market's lowest price. Our own disclosures do not excuse misleading price claims, and ACCC online-shopping guidance explains the protections applying to online shopping.
Delivery and alcohol restrictions
Check delivery charges, excluded areas, estimated timing, age-check requirements and who may accept the delivery. The retailer is responsible for applying the laws relevant to its sale, including any state, territory or restricted-area rules; those rules are not replaced by our 18+ notice (Australian Government alcohol-law guidance).
Do not assume an order can be left unattended, delivered to every address or accepted by someone under 18. Confirm the retailer's process before ordering, including what happens after a failed delivery.
Your Australian Consumer Law rights
Covered goods must meet consumer guarantees, including acceptable quality, matching their description and fitness for a disclosed purpose where the relevant guarantee applies. These rights cannot be removed by a retailer's terms or a “no refunds” statement (ACCC consumer-guarantee guidance).
If a guarantee is not met, the remedy depends on the nature and seriousness of the failure and can include a repair, replacement, refund or other compensation where the law provides it (ACCC consumer-guarantee guidance). For wine that is damaged, faulty, incorrectly described or different from what was ordered, contact the seller promptly with order details and appropriate evidence.
Overseas location does not automatically remove Australian protections when a business directly offers goods or services to Australian consumers (ACCC online-shopping guidance). Our terms preserve applicable non-excludable rights and do not disclaim responsibility for our own conduct.
Returns, cancellations and order complaints
Contact the retailer about an order, shipment, payment, cancellation or return. Keep the receipt, offer terms and relevant correspondence, and ask the retailer for return instructions rather than posting bottles to our Irish correspondence address.
A retailer's voluntary change-of-mind policy is separate from statutory remedies for a problem with the goods. Read both before ordering; nothing on this page requires you to give up a remedy available by law.
Complaints about WineDeals.com.au
Email winedeals@gamingmedia.com with the page URL, what happened, when it happened, supporting information and the outcome you want. Do not include full payment-card details, passwords or unnecessary identity documents. We handle complaints about our own content, disclosures, privacy practices and conduct even where a retailer handles an order complaint.
We aim to acknowledge site complaints within five business days and give a substantive response within 30 days. If more time is needed, we will explain why and provide an update. These targets do not extend a legal deadline or prevent you from approaching an appropriate regulator or tribunal.
Privacy complaints follow our Privacy Policy. For consumer-law information and further help with online purchases, use the ACCC online-shopping guidance; regulators' ability to assist with an overseas seller may be limited.
Commercial relationships and responsible choices
Retailer links may earn commission where identified, and commercial relationships may affect coverage or prominence. Read the Affiliate Disclosure rather than assuming whole-market or non-commercial coverage.
The site is for adults aged 18 and over. A lower price is not a reason to drink more; see our Alcohol & 18+ information for Australian guidance and support. No offer, warning or policy here is a substitute for a retailer's own legally required notices.
